It was great to attend the opening of the Southern Cross Enterprise Lab at the University this week.
The new Enterprise Labs sits alongside the $14 million Centre of Co-operative Excellence at SCU that I announced last year.
I would like to congratulate the State Government and Thomas for funding the Enterprise Labs and Thomas.

Another business will re-open its doors in Lismore next week following the March flood.
I will be at the official opening of St George Bank this week.

Last week I presented a $10,000 cheque to the Alstonville Community Preschool so that it could install solar panels.
The preschool is run by volunteers and the new panels will save the school about $3000 a year in electricity bills.
This saving can now be spent on our children – a terrific outcome for everyone.

The Bentley Art Prize is on again at the Bentley Public Hall from the 4th to the 6th of August.
The Art Prize attracts great artists from across the region and is a wonderful opportunity for local artists to display their work.
I look forward to seeing the great work done by our local students and artists.
