It was great to deliver $1 million to Lismore City Council this week to seal Conway Street, Wyrallah Road and Broadwater Road.
This money was an election commitment and is on top of the more than $5 million of Federal funds to help the council repair and maintain local roads and the more than $30 million to repair damage from the floods.

It was wonderful to catch up with students from St Carthages when they visited Parliament House last week.
Their parents and teachers should be seriously proud of these kids. They were exceptionally well behaved and asked great questions.
It’s always good to see friends from home in Canberra

Thank you to Sean Radburn from Sommerville Laundry and Lomax, who kindly donated the prize for the Lismore Show’s public speaking competition – a prize he bought at an Our Kids Fundraiser.
The finalists were Isabel Kemp, Ellie McMahon, Amy Corbett, Riley Breen and Daisy Thompson.
Well done to all of them and congratulations to the winner Daisy.

It was great to open the new Regional Art Gallery at the Quad on the weekend.
It is a wonderful space made possible by a $2.8 million Federal Government Grant.
