Students at St Andrew’s Christian School in Clarenza will benefit from two new classrooms and amenity blocks made possible by a Government grant of $500,000, the Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan said.
“St Andrew’s Christian School is a great community school and it needs more classrooms to continue growing,” he said.
“That is why I was happy to secure a grant to make this $1 million project possible.
The school community is contributing $500,000 to the project.
“The new facilities include the construction of a new building, including two classrooms, and two toilet blocks,” Mr Hogan said.
“This is about ensuring the School’s 182 students have the support they need to succeed.”
School Principal Mac Lindsay said: “The new schoolrooms and toilets are a much needed boost for the School.”
“We appreciate the support of our local Federal Member Kevin Hogan.”
