Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan today announced a grant of $5000 to the Lismore Richmond Rovers Football Club.
The grant will allow the club to install four additional lights and replace 12 existing lamps and fittings at Neilson Park Bill Harris Field.
“This is great news for the community,” Mr Hogan said.
“This project to upgrade lighting at the field will increase participation in the sport and re-inforce Lismore’s reputation and profile as a first-class sporting centre.”
Projects under the Stronger Communities Program, like this one, are selected by a community consultation committee that assist with identifying potential projects.
