Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan today announced of almost $15,000 grant to the Grafton Vintage Motor Vehicle Club.
The grant will allow the club to replace its existing grounds mower that is nearing its use-by-date.
“This is great news for the community,” Mr Hogan said.
“I would like to congratulate all the club members, who after taking over the lease of a vacant Jabour Park.
“It has taken an enormous amount of unpaid labour and man hours to get the ground to this stage. The new mower will allow the club to maintain it at its high current standard, ensuring it can be used by the community.”
Projects under the Stronger Communities Program, like this one, are selected by a community consultation committee that assist with identifying potential projects.
