Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan today announced of more than $16,000 grant to the Kyogle and District Historical Society.
The grant will allow the society to put in floor covering in the proposed new museum building
“This is great news for the community,” Mr Hogan said.
“I would like to congratulate all member of the Historical Society who have been working hard to bring the rich history of Kyogle to the community.
“The new museum will be a magnet for the community and visitors to see creative exhibitions and discover the history of Kyogle.”
Projects under the Stronger Communities Program, like this one, are selected by a community consultation committee that assist with identifying potential projects.
