Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan today announced Richmond Lodge will receive almost $2 million per year in ongoing funding for 30 new Residential Aged Care places in Casino.
“The additional beds will mean more than 20 new permanent jobs,” Mr Hogan said.
“This is great news for our ageing community and also great news for those looking for work.”
“The new jobs will include carers, cooks, administration and ground staff.
“These newly allocated residential places represent ongoing funding of almost $2 million per year for Aged Care in the Casino.
“This additional funding will allow for the expansion of Richmond Lodge’s residential services in Casino to further meet the needs of the local community.”
“This means older members of our community will be able to remain in their community as they age.”
