Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan today announced $980,540 to improve heavy vehicle access to Townsend Industrial Estate.
“This funding will be used to strengthen the road pavement, widen road shoulders and improve drainage,” Mr Hogan said.
“Council have matched this funding, making it a $1.96 million investment in our business community.”
“It will allow improve access to our industrial estate for heavy vehicles, creating better productivity and more jobs.”

“Not only will this package support jobs, construction businesses and the economy, it will improve our local roads and provide for new and upgraded amenities to help communities stay connected.”
This project has been funded through the Federal Government’s Heavy Vehicle Program.
