Students at St Andrew’s Christian School in Clarenza can now benefit from two new classrooms and amenity blocks.
Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan today officially opened the new building.
“St Andrew’s Christian School is a great community school and it needed more classrooms to continue growing,” Mr Hogan said.
“I secured a $500,000 Federal Government grant, and the school raised $954,405 to put towards this $1.42 million project.”
“This new building has two primary classes with attached learning support areas, one primary school amenities block and one secondary amenities block.”
“Students and teachers thrive when their schools have modern and up-to-date facilities, so it’s great to see this new building completed.”
“The classrooms are fitted with interactive whiteboards, breakout spaces, natural light and flexible learning spaces. The adjoining rooms have small group spaces for learning support or extension groups.”
“There is also space on the full-length verandah provided further opportunity for outdoor learning, picnics and a stage for performances and events.”
