Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan has announced a $1 million upgrade for Woolgoolga’s Foreshore and Beach Reserve if the Government is re-elected.
“This is fantastic news for our community,” Mr Hogan said.
“This funding will go towards Stage 2 of Council’s masterplan, which includes a new viewing deck, beach access ramp, pathways, showers, bike racks and general beautification of the area.”
“It will complement the works already completed along the foreshore, making it an even better space for the community and visitors.”
“Reconfiguration of the holiday park, installation of shared path, play space, and new restrooms, removal of the existing restrooms, play space and car park, and the surf club, are all completed.”
Coffs Harbour City Council Mayor Councillor Paul Amos welcomed the announcement and said it was fantastic space for the whole community.
“The Woolgoolga Beach Reserve is a beautiful piece of coastal public open space that is known and loved by residents and tourists alike,” Mayor Amos said.
“It’s exciting to see this next stage of works progressing. It will certainly enhance the existing natural beauty of the space, while also improving accessibility for all the community.”
