Red Rock Multi-Use Centre
The Red Rock Multi Use Centre will receive two Federal grants totally $23,500 to help improve facilities, reduce running costs, and strengthen community resilience.
A $19,000 grant will fund the installation of solar panels and battery storage, reduce energy costs while improve disaster preparedness and emergency support for the entire community.
A $4,500 grant will help cover insurance premiums, easing financial pressure on volunteers and allowing funds to go towards essential upgrades and activities.
Federal Member for Page, Kevin Hogan, said the funding recognises the important role the centre plays in the local community.
Mr Hogan thanked the volunteers who run the centre for their ongoing commitment to the Red Rock community.
“This funding is to support the dedicated volunteers who keep this vital community organisation running.
“The installation of solar panels and battery storage will ensure the community has reliable support in the case of an emergency.
“This centre has supported many local organisations and people, these upgrades will ensure it remains a part of the community.
