Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan said students and staff at Casino Christian School will have full use of a new state-of-the-art $1.3 million science laboratory including contemporary learning spaces and a staff preparation area thanks to funding from the Government.
“It is great to visit Casino Christian School today and see the new facilities firsthand and the impact they will have on students’ learning potential,” he said.
“I am committed to putting science, technology, engineering and mathematics at the heart of school education. It’s critical to our nation’s future that more students study science and maths subjects.
“This is part of our commitment to ensuring students have the support they need to succeed in the classroom.”
The new facilities cost more than $1.3 million, with the Federal Government contributing $840,000 and the school community contributing $466,000.
