Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan this week officially launched his campaign for the election on May 21. He was joined by Minister for Agriculture David Littlepround in Grafton.
“It is a great honour to be our community’s representative in Canberra. I have and always will have, our community’s interests front and centre,” Mr Hogan said.
“This is the most important election in recent history – it is about jobs, flood recovery and cost of living.”
“We must continue to create local jobs. Our unemployment rate is the lowest in over 40 years. More people have jobs, and more businesses are confident about their future.”
“Our community needs the money to rebuild our lives from the floods, and the money to prevent it from happening again. I have announced over $200 million for flood mitigation works for the whole catchment, so we can rebuild our homes and businesses with confidence.”
“Lowering the cost of living is also a priority. We have saved you money at the fuel pump by cutting the fuel excise by 22c per litre. We’re also putting more money in your pocket by lowering taxes.”
“Thank you for your continued support, together we can continue to keep our community safe and strong.”
