Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan today announced a grant of almost $3000 to the Woolgoolga Returned Services Golf Club to install drainage to protect the course during heavy rain.
“This is great news for the club and the community,” he said.
“Quite often after it rains, the club has to close the course. Not only is this inconvenient for members, social players and visitors, it also effects the club’s bottom line.
“This grant will fix that problem. It will also allow for the continuation of the cart path installation which will enhance the access to the course for those with reduced mobility and keen golfers alike.”
