Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan today officially opened Grafton Hockey Club’s newly upgraded Clubhouse which will help boost grassroots sport in the community.
This $560,000 project was an election commitment by the Federal Government.
It is fantastic to open the upgraded Clubhouse today,” he said.
“Twenty jobs were created during this upgrade, and the Club used locally sourced products and services. It is great to see the Clubhouse back in action and I can’t wait to see it used by hockey groups and the broader community.
“The upgraded function area with service kitchen and bar will provide the community with a venue for hire. In turn, this will help the region attract larger competitions such as state titles, improving the financial stability of the Club.”
