Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan today committed $10,000 to upgrade the Coutts Crossing Cougars Football Club if the Turnbull-Joyce Government is re-elected.
Mr Hogan said the $10,000 upgrade will greatly benefit the Coutts Crossing community.
“This project will foster community spirit and sporting excellence in our region, as well as provide a boost to tourism by allowing the Cougars to attract teams to play against from further afar,” Mr Hogan said.
The funding will allow the club to construct new change rooms, referee rooms, additional storage and a disabled toilet.
“We all know how much clubs like the Coutts Crossing Cougars add to the community,” Mr Hogan said.
“That’s why it is important to me that this funding is delivered. The upgrade will ensure club members and guests have the facilities they need to watch, play or excel in their chosen sport.”
