Celebrating our Local School Leaders
Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan has held his annual School Leaders event in South
Grafton, bringing together hundreds of students, parents, and teachers to recognise the
important role young leaders play in our school communities.
“This is a great opportunity to celebrate the leadership, responsibility and pride our young
people show in their schools,” Mr Hogan said.
This year’s guest speakers were Our Cow founders, Dave and Bianca, two Aussie farmers
whose big idea has grown into a national business supporting farming families.
“Dave and Bianca shared their story of backing themselves, thinking big, and building
something from the ground up,” Mr Hogan said.
“What started as a small idea on their farm is now helping families right across Australia
access quality produce while supporting local farmers doing it tough.”
“Their message about courage, resilience and never giving up really resonated with the
students in the room.”
Mr Hogan also acknowledged the families and educators who continue to support the
region’s young leaders.
“I want to thank the parents, grandparents, carers and teachers who are there every step of the
way. Your support makes all the difference.”
