People with a disability will have easier access to Red Rock-Corindi Surf Life Saving Club and the club’s balcony will be refurbished thanks to a grant announced by the Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan.
“Red Rock-Corindi Surf Life Saving Club is a great well-used community asset,” he said.
“This grant of almost $5000 will allow more people in the community to use its facilities and become involved in the life of the club. The grant will also be used to update the balcony to ensure it is compliant with council standards.”
Club Vice President Phil Milroy thanked Kevin Hogan “for his generous support that is essential for volunteer organisations like ours”.
“We are small community and a small club and we pride ourselves on being inclusive. The new wheelchair ramp means that more people can become members and get involved with the things that we do.”
