Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan today announced a grant of more than $9000 to Meals on Wheels in Yamba to install Solar panels.
“This is great news for this volunteer-run club. It will allow them to reduce their power bills and spend their money on helping our community,” he said.
“It’s estimated that the panels will save Meals on Wheels more than $3500 a year in power bills.
“Our community is also very aware of the need to reduce our carbon footprint and this grant will reduce that footprint.”
