It is a great privilege to represent our community in Parliament. Fighting for local issues and our community is a task I love and take seriously. As a member of the Turnbull/Joyce Government we still have much to do.
New electoral boundaries, which were determined by the independent Australian Electoral Commission, were ratified last week which mean I gain some new communities to represent and lose others.
I am excited about now representing the communities and surrounds of Maclean, Ulmarra, Brooms Head, Sandon, Tucabia, Minnie Water, Wooli, Red Rock, Halfway Creek, Corindi Beach, Woolgoolga, and Sapphire Beach.
Also Nimbin, Clunes, Corndale, Rosebank, Dunoon, The Channon, and Modanville move into Page.
Ballina is no longer in Page and will now reside in the federal seat of Richmond.
I will continue to stand for what I believe is in the best interests of our local community.
