Richmond River High School rebuild at risk
An application has been lodged with the Federal Government seeking to stop construction of the new Richmond River High Campus. The decision on the future of the new site rests with Murray Watt, the Federal Minister for Environment and Water
I call on the Minister to allow construction to continue immediately.
“This school was devastated by the floods. Our community has fought hard to see it rebuilt,” Mr Hogan said. “Students have already endured enormous disruption. They deserve certainty, not more delays.”
Mr Hogan said the project has already been through extensive planning and approval processes.
“The Richmond River High Campus is vital infrastructure for our region. The Minister must make a decision quickly because of the broader impact on hundreds of local families.”
