Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan this week visited Synchronicity Farms at Nana Glen which will be the centre for a new Raw Food Hub after it received a $200,000 Federal Government grant, creating 80 new jobs in the Orara Valley.
“The Raw Food Hub at Synchronicity Farm is a great example of how the Federal Government can co-invest to help local businesses expand and employ create more jobs,” Mr Hogan said.
“This social enterprise will connect farmers and producers with consumers and commercial clients who want access to food directly from a farm.”
Mr Hogan met with Synchronicity Farms’ Joshua Allen to discuss how the grant, which has been matched by the farm, will be used to improve growing, packaging and distribution of high quality locally produced food.
