Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan today announced a $250,000 funding commitment by a re-elected Coalition Government to upgrade Kyogle pool so that it can be enjoyed by the community all year round.
“The pool is a great community asset and one that is very well used,” he said.
“This grant of $250,000 will allow the pool to be used all year round with the existing medium-sized pool converted into an indoor-heated pool and the construction of a new gym and amenities.”
This upgrade is the first stage of a planned indoor sports complex which will include the pool and extend onto the vacant block next to the pool.
“This is all part of my plan to create sustainable communities for local families and businesses, while attracting new residents and investment from further afield.”
