Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan brought ANZ chief executive Shayne Elliott to Lismore yesterday.
“I met Shayne as part of my committee work in Canberra. I invited him to Lismore for a couple of reasons,” he said.
“Firstly he showed me systems and processes they have put in place to shift the bank back to a service culture from a sales culture.
“While he was here I also encouraged him to expand ANZ’s workforce in our region. One option I believe is a call centre. I showed him some potential sites I think would work.
“Everyone I meet who is a decision-maker, I encourage to invest in our region.”
