Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan today announced a grant of $12,100 for the Bonalbo Anzac Memorial Park.
“This funding of $12,100 will allow the Bonalbo RSL Sub-Branch to upgrade the Patrick McNamee Anzac Memorial Park, which is used for various commemorative events, including Anzac Day, Vietnam Veterans’ Day and Remembrance Day,” Mr Hogan said.
“The grant will go a long way to helping install additional security measures.”
Patrick McNamee ANZAC Memorial Park was established on land donated by early Bonalbo settler Patrick McNamee and dedicated in memory of those who served in World War One.
The Memorial Park was officially opened in 1938.
The grant was made under the Federal Government’s Armistice Centenary Grants Program
