Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan today announced a grant for Maclean High School to commemorate the end of the First World War.
“This $3000 grant will allow the school to erect a flagpole and install a plaque to create a Lone Pine Commemorative Garden at the school,” he said.
“As Remembrance Day this year marks the centenary of the First World War Armistice, this grant will ensure the Maclean High school community will have an ideal location to stop for a minute’s silence and remember all those who have served our nation over a Century of Service.”
The grant was made under the Federal Government’s Armistice Centenary Grants Program
