Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan today announced a grant of more than $12,000 to the Kyogle Golf Club to lay concrete paths for motorised buggies.
“This is great news for the club and its members,” he said.
“The grant will allow the Kyogle Golf Club to lay concrete paths so that ageing players can use motorised buggies.
“The paths will also reduce erosion which regularly occurs during heavy rain and prolonged wet periods, and allow the course to be open to the public at times it would otherwise be closed for safety reasons.”
The grant is from the Federal Government’s Stronger Communities Programme.
