Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan today inspected work on the new carpark for the Duck Creek Mountain Bike Club in Alstonville following at Federal Government grant of $15,000.
“This new carpark will allow all-weather access to the bike club and grounds, meaning it can be used much more,” Mr Hogan said.
“Mountain bike riding is an increasingly popular sport in our community and I would like to congratulate the club executive and members who have worked hard to establish the club and grow the sport.”
The grant is from the Federal Government’s Stronger Communities Programme. The Duck Creek Mountain Bike Club will match the funding.
