Coutts Crossing Coronation Hall disability amenities funding
Coutts Crossing Coronation Hall has received a $20,000 grant through the Stronger Communities Programme Round 9. The funding will be used to start the process for a more accessible Hall for locals, with the installation of new disability amenities.
Federal Member for Page, Kevin Hogan MP, said the project will ensure the community hall can be safely accessed by people of all abilities.
“This is exactly what the Stronger Communities Programme is designed to do, deliver essential upgrades that make a real difference to local people,” Mr Hogan said.
“When the amenities are complete, more residents will be able to take part in community events and activities at the Coutts Crossing Hall.”
The Coutts Crossing Hall is a key local meeting place, hosting a range of community gatherings and events throughout the year.
“I’m pleased to fund this project. Thank you to the Hall committee and the volunteers for ensuring the functionality of the hall.”
“It is great to continue supporting upgrades that strengthen inclusion and participation in our regional communities.”
