Red Rock Landcare has been working to remove weeds and regenerate the dunes at Red Rock.
Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan said they want to continue this work and remove more weeds.
“It was great to announce $5,500 to support this important project,” Mr Hogan said.
“This funding will be used to spray infestations of weeds, stabilise the sand, and plant ground cover vegetation.”
“With an increase in damaging weather, it is important that we reduce sand drift, improve dune stability and enhance vegetation cover.”
