The Bonalbo Show Society will be able to showcase more livestock with its new multi-purpose exhibition and events building, the Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan said.
“The new facility includes a poultry display area, connection to the town’s electricity grid and all-access toilets and ablution blocks – every visitor and farm animal will be treated in comfort,” he said.
“Bonalbo Showgrounds can now attract regional and interstate visitors which will increase economic and employment opportunities for this town,
“The project supported 11 jobs during construction and is expected to create another two ongoing jobs in the longer term,
“Upgrading the showgrounds facilities will let the community hold more local events, explore their history and connect with one another.”
This project was jointly funded by the Federal Government investing $53,000 and Bonalbo Show Society Inc. contributing $59,898.
